[EN] A drop in temperatures accompanied by storm warnings: the weather changes radically in Aragon

The Aragonese are going to experience a day of suffocating heat this Wednesday. Water bottles, fans and shades will be the most precious asset for all those who have to go out on the street. However, the Aragonese community will be able to see how the time can change radically in just a few days.

Zaragoza will reach 42º this Wednesday, Huesca 39º and Teruel 38º, data that have forced the Aemet to activate the orange warning for maximum temperatures in several geographical points of the region, especially in the Ebro Valley and the Hoya de Huesca. The skies will remain clear and the few clouds that will be seen are not expected to discharge precipitation.

From here, there will be a drop in temperatures and even storm warnings will be activated in several parts of the territory during the rest of the week. Although temperatures will still remain high this Thursday in Zaragoza (between 21º and 36º), the Aemet warns that storms could occur around noon that would unload on the Aragonese capital.

On Friday there will be no risk of precipitation, but the people of Zaragoza will notice a significant change in temperatures, which will fall from 36º the previous day to 30º, and an increase in wind gusts that could reach 20km/h.

HUESCA AND TERUEL

The people of Huesca will also notice this great weather change this Thursday. The maximum will drop to 33º and the minimum to 19º, and in addition, the city will remain on alert throughout the day for possible storms. For Friday, thermometers are expected to continue to drop and temperatures will be between 17º and 29º. 

In Teruel, the thermometers will mark a maximum of 34º and a minimum of 17º on Thursday, with gusts of wind that could blow at a speed of 30km/h. On Friday temperatures will not rise above 32º while at night they could drop to 14º.
