With just under two weeks to go until the end of the summer transfer window, few players have left Real Zaragoza who are without a team. The latest to get on the Second Division boat has been Mawuli Mensah who has been announced this Friday as a new Ceuta player.
The Ghanaian midfielder signs for the next two seasons with the Ceuta team. In this way, the African player has before him the opportunity to settle in the Second Division after a first attempt at the Real Zaragoza that was not entirely fruitful.
HIS TIME AT REAL ZARAGOZA
Mensah arrived in the winter market from Real Betis’ reserve team and since his arrival he was one of the few winter reinforcements who had a positive impact on the team, being a permanent fixture for Sellés in midfield. But as the season progressed he ended up losing his place and in the last four games he did not play minutes.
In his brief stay in the Aragonese capital, the midfielder completed thirteen games playing seven as a starter and six from the bench. In those matches he did not score a goal or assist for the white team.
