The green area of the municipal swimming pool of La Jota is generating complaints among some residents of the neighborhood due to the state it presents this summer. The conversation has arisen in a Facebook group of La Jota, where several users have focused on the presence of mud and the difficulties in using the grass normally. «The truth is that it’s sad, it’s mud, you can’t put the towel on,» says a neighbor in the comments of the publication.
The opinions shared among users point to different possible reasons to explain the situation. One of the neighbors assures that the green area «was planted this year» and that, apparently, «the seed has not been adequate,» while another suggests that it may not be watering sufficiently.
This last possibility, however, has been refuted by other users, who claim that irrigation is carried out at night. In the same debate, a neighbor explains that he spoke with the workers and that, a week before the opening, the area «was beautiful.»
A LAWN THAT CONTRASTS WITH THAT OF OTHER MUNICIPAL SWIMMING POOLS
The situation has also led some users to compare the state of the La Jota meadow with that of other municipal swimming pools. Specifically, one of the neighbors points out that he usually also goes to Santa Isabel and assures that there «the green area is a pleasure.» In the debate, another user also recalls that, in his opinion, in other years he had not encountered a similar situation in La Jota.
The La Jota Neighborhood Association has encouraged in this sense those who have detected this type of situation to transfer a complaint through the Suggestion Box of the Zaragoza City Council. In this way, it is intended to highlight the problems that users may encounter in municipal facilities.
