The last full week of August arrives with new works and traffic effects at different points of Zaragoza. In addition to the larger works that continue in areas such as Avenida de Valencia or the surroundings of El Portillo, new interventions in streets such as Valle de Broto, Puente Clavería, Leonardo Torres de Quevedo or Duque de Alba will be added from this Monday, as reported by the Zaragoza City Council.

VALLEY OF SPROUT

One of the most prominent effects will occur in Valle de Broto, where the City Council will repair the pavement located next to the tram route at the intersections with Gómez de Avellaneda and María Zambrano.

From 7:00 a.m. on August 24 until 6:00 p.m. on the 28th, the two right lanes in the direction of Pirineos Avenue will be occupied at both intersections. The action will continue from August 31 to September 4 on the two left lanes in the same direction.

CLAVERIA BRIDGE

There will also be work in Puente Clavería, specifically between the Jordán and La Frondosa roads. Between August 24 and 25, from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., the road will be partially occupied to carry out asphalting work.

During the intervention, traffic will be maintained in both directions by means of an alternative passage regulated by signalists.

LEONARDO TORRES DE QUEVEDO

In Leonardo Torres de Quevedo, the construction of a speed bump at number 14 will force the pavement to be occupied between 24 and 28 August.

Pedestrians will be diverted through a protected corridor on the road and parking between numbers 13 and 17-19 will be prohibited to guarantee the passage of road traffic.

DUKE OF ALBA

Another condition will reach Duque de Alba, where pruning work will be carried out between August 24 and 28, from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

During these days, one of the lanes will be occupied and alternative passage will be given in both directions by signals. The main impact will occur on August 25, when it will be necessary to cut the road between the Camino Fuente de la Junquera and the access to the car park located next to the Amusement Park.

CAMINO DE LOS MOLINOS

On the Camino de los Molinos, the repair works of a supply pipeline that began urgently on August 9 continue.

Until September 4, the section between numbers 110 and 114 will continue to be cut. Traffic will be diverted through Bernardo Ramazzini or along the unnamed road parallel to Cristo Rey Street.

TOMÁS EDISON

At Tomás Edison, the electrical channeling work is scheduled to be completed on Monday, August 24.

The action will partially occupy the road at the junction with Jaime Ferrán, specifically the left access lanes to the junction. Left turns will also be prohibited, except for cars.

CATALINA SALAZAR

The works linked to the Huerva River have affected Catalina Salazar, where paving work continues after the renovation of the sanitation.

The street will remain closed, although access to the affected speed bump will be guaranteed. Cervantes and Zumalacárregui, in their sections between Arzobispo Domenech and Salazar, will be at the bottom of the sack and with a double direction to allow access to speed bumps, works and the supermarket. Parking bans also continue.

CALLE RÍO HUERVA

On Río Huerva street, the renovation of sidewalks between La Luz and Marina Española continues.

The works keep the sidewalk on the even side and the adjacent lane occupied, in addition to the prohibition of parking between La Luz and Mario Lasala. Traffic in the direction of Marina Española will be diverted through Lasala Valdés, Luz, Río Huerva and Viva España.

MARQUÉS DE LA CADENA

In Marqués de la Cadena, the installation of photovoltaic panels continues in the parking lot located between numbers 66 and 68.

The work will last until September 19 and parking will be prohibited, except in electric vehicle charging spaces when it is necessary to use them. The branch that connects José Gonzalvo Vives and Augusto García Hedgart will remain open to access the service station, the supermarket and the charging points.

ANSELMO CLAVÉ

The urbanization works of El Portillo also have effects on Anselmo Clavé. From Friday, August 21 and for two months, the bike lane between Escrivá de Balaguer and the Los Zagríes roundabout will remain closed to execute the future median of the avenue, while road traffic is maintained in both directions.
