[EN] The big heads take over the festivities of San José: an exhibition brings together figures from different neighborhoods

The big-heads have been this Saturday one of the great protagonists of the festivities of San José. The Teodoro Sánchez Punter Civic Center has hosted during the morning an exhibition with figures from different neighborhoods, bringing to the public one of the most recognizable traditions of the popular festivals of Zaragoza.

The exhibition could be visited between 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. and has been integrated into a program that still has numerous events ahead of it. The bigheads, in addition, will continue to have a presence during the festivities, with outings accompanied by brass band in different parts of the neighborhood until next Sunday, August 30.

This Saturday afternoon will have one of its central moments from 6:45 p.m. with the great initial parade, which will depart from Plaza Utrillas and will travel through Miguel Servet, Avenida de San José and Tenor Fleta until it reaches the fairgrounds. At 8:45 p.m. the Sanjosecino or Sanjosecina of the Year will be named and, at 9:00 p.m., Jorge Asín and José Antonio Bernal will offer the proclamation and launch the chupinazo. The music will continue during the night with DJ Bacardit and Coloma DJ and a solidarity bingo before midnight.

The celebrations of San José will continue over the next few days with children’s activities, sports, music and neighborhood meetings. The program also includes performances by Mazinger Band, Recuerdo Locos, Florida y Hermoso, Trasteand and Poetas D’Calle, as well as a tribute to El Barrio.
