The Spanish Association Against Cancer has announced the auction of a rustic property of 5,938 square meters in the Valle de Hecho (Huesca), located on the river plain next to the river Aragón Subordán. The plot, suitable for meadows or extensive crops, starts at a price of 1,045 euros, compared to an appraisal of 3,483 euros.

AUCTION OPEN UNTIL SEPTEMBER 8

The bidding, managed through the specialized portal Escrapalia, will remain open until September 8. Any person, company or investor can participate in the auction after registering for free on the platform. To submit a bid it will be necessary to deposit a guarantee of 500 euros, which will be returned to those who are not awarded.

The plot in Huesca is part of a broader operation with which the Spanish Association Against Cancer has put on the market 12 lots of rustic land owned by it spread over different points of España.

MORE THAN 100,000 SQUARE METERS UP FOR AUCTION

Overall, 109,150 square metres of agricultural, forestry and pasture land are up for auction, distributed among ten towns in eight provinces. In addition to the Valle de Hecho, there are plots in municipalities of Teruel, Castellón, Palencia, Balearic Islands, Badajoz and Pontevedra.

The joint starting price of all the lots reaches 18,300 euros, with initial bids ranging from 194 to 5,378 euros. In some cases, the prices involve discounts of more than 70% compared to the official appraisal value.

RESOURCES FOR THE FIGHT AGAINST CANCER

The land comes from the heritage bequeathed by people who decided to contribute to the work of the Spanish Association Against Cancer. According to Marta Casado, head of Real Estate at Escrapalia Inmuebles, these auctions allow resources to be obtained for social and scientific programs, as well as research, accompaniment and prevention initiatives, while giving a new use to rural properties that can continue to generate economic and environmental value.
