Rubén Iranzo aims for Nástic – Real Zaragoza

In the absence of outlining the last issues, it is likely that the Real Zaragoza will announce the signing of centre-back Rubén Iranzo this Wednesday. The centre-back arrives from Valencia Mestalla, the reserve team of the ché team, and must adapt soon to Ibai Gómez’s plans. In fact, he has the chance to play this Sunday against Nástic de Tarragona.

Iranzo arrives at Real Zaragoza to fight for a place in the starting line-up. In principle, the two players who start with that vitola are Diego González and Tachi, but the former is out. This Friday he suffered a blow to the head in the friendly against Bilbao Athletic and, due to protocol, he will not be able to wear the shorts in Tarragona.

In this way, someone must accompany Tachi. And here comes Iranzo. If he doesn’t, Barrachina or the conversion of Saidu are the other options in the axis of the defense. However, the most logical thing would be for the new signing to jump into the ring at the Nou Estadi.

This Wednesday, the Real Zaragoza has returned to training. They have done so with the absence of Monzón, in addition to González himself, and Iranzo has not yet been seen. However, it is logical that it will be on Thursday when he will wear shorts for the first time under the orders of the coach, Ibai Gómez.

THE FIRST ELEVEN

In this week of work, the aim is to give the final touches and dispel small doubts that may arise regarding the starting eleven. Added to this is the possibility that Iranzo will not be the only signing this week, since the Real Zaragoza needs to incorporate a right-back. It should be remembered that the only first-team player in this position is Jokin Gabilondo.

There are several clear starters in the team. Westerveld in goal, Ander Herrera in midfield and Joaquín Delgado up front aim to form a usual backbone in the white team. The plan was for Diego González to complete it, but the blow suffered has caused him to be delayed in his debut.

On the other hand, the first call-up of the coach of Real Zaragoza, Ibai Gómez, will also shed light on the players who do not have a place in the first team. The idea can be applied to those who, despite traveling, do not add minutes.

THE MATCH

The debut of Real Zaragoza in the third step of Spanish football is scheduled for this Sunday at 9:30 p.m. At the Nou Estadi in Tarragona, Ibai Gómez’s men will try to start off on the right foot in a campaign of obligatory promotion.
