Aragon will have a hundred modular classrooms during the 2026/27 academic year, which will begin next Tuesday, September 8. These facilities will be distributed among 25 educational centers and will accommodate about 2,000 students while definitive expansions and other pending works are undertaken. The prefabricated classrooms will be present in 19 towns in the provinces of Zaragoza and Huesca, while no center in Teruel will have them.
Zaragoza will concentrate the vast majority: 86 of the 100 classrooms, compared to the 14 that will be installed in Huesca. The Government has explained that the use of these facilities responds «to the need to have decent and functional spaces while definitive extensions are being carried out».
THESE ARE THE CENTERS
In total, 20 centers in Zaragoza and the province will use modular classrooms, distributed among 13 localities. In the Aragonese capital alone there will be 36. For its part, Huesca will have 14 classrooms in five centers, although they will be physically distributed among six locations due to the fact that the CRA Montearagón has facilities in Tierz, Nueno and Chimillas. Most of these classrooms have been managed through the Provincial Education Services.
