Jéssica Rodríguez, ex-girlfriend of José Luis Ábalos, testified this Monday as a defendant before the judge of the National Court (AN) Ismael Moreno for influence peddling and embezzlement in the framework of the ‘Koldo case’.
In addition, the magistrate will also hear the testimony of the deputy director of Administrative Management of Adif, Ignacio Zaldívar, and Koldo García’s brother, Joseba. Both are also in the case.
The Anti-Corruption Prosecutor’s Office considers that Zaldívar and Rodríguez should be investigated for the fraudulent hiring of the latter, by Ineco, between March 1, 2019 and February 28, 2021, and by Tragsatec, between March 2, 2021 and September 1, 2021. Joseba García would only be involved in the hiring by Ineco.
In the Supreme Court ruling that convicted José Luis Ábalos and Koldo García, it was proven that Jéssica Rodríguez was hired in both public companies as a result of a plug and that she did not provide any service in either of the two companies.
In addition, Rodríguez’s name appears in the ‘Plus Ultra case’ as a beneficiary of the payment of 2,000 euros from the Peruvian businessman Luis Felipe Baca who transferred that amount to her without any justification for the payment.
