Now yes, the third heat wave of the summer is here. Although some would have the feeling of being in an eternal one, the Aemet has already confirmed that from this Tuesday there will be an episode of «very high temperatures» that may exceed 44 degrees in some parts of the country and that in Aragon they will leave records of up to 43 in points such as Zaragoza and tropical nights in which the minimums will not fall below 30 degrees, for example, at 1:00 a.m.

To start the week, temperatures will already be high in the Community and all of Aragon is on heat alert (in one degree or another) for this Monday. The highest will be recorded in the province of Zaragoza where thermometers may reach, and exceed, 39 degrees. In fact, by capitals, it is expected that in Zaragoza the barrier of 40 degrees will already be exceeded this Monday. In the rest of Aragon, yellow alert and thermometers oscillating between 36 and 38 degrees. The minimum temperatures will be between 18 and 23 degrees.

By this Tuesday, the orange alert will stain a large part of the Community and the barrier of 40 degrees will be exceeded in Teruel, in Zaragoza (where the maximum could reach 41) and in Huesca they will be 39. The minimum temperatures will rise and will range between 20 and 24 degrees. The heat wave will bring with it air with suspended dust, haze, and also a very high risk of fires throughout Spain.

THE WORST DAY OF THE HEATWAVE

The week will progress, to the suffering of many, without major changes and waiting for the worst. Although the Aemet has issued in its statement that the heat wave will last, at least until Thursday, it will be on Friday when the highest temperatures will be recorded. At least, in the Ribera del Ebro as maximums of up to 43 degrees are expected in Zaragoza and minimums that will not fall below 25 degrees during the early morning. In Huesca, the maximum temperatures will remain at 39 while in Teruel it is also expected to exceed 40.

Of course, for now, the Aemet foresees a small respite for the weekend when temperatures could suddenly drop by about 10 degrees.
