«Summer discovery when you get lost». This is how Jordi Évole defined the restaurant where he stopped almost by chance, located in a small town in the Sierra de Albarracín, in the province of Teruel.

«Incredible to arrive in such a remote place and find an incredible team,» said the laSexta journalist, who wanted to thank the treatment received from the workers and chefs of La Cabaña de la Muela, located in Griegos, a small Teruel municipality of just 150 inhabitants.

TRADITIONAL CUISINE WITH SPECTACULAR VIEWS

Its commitment is to traditional cuisine, with a menu inspired by the flavours of the mountains and made with local products. However, if there is something that stands out especially about La Cabaña de la Muela, and that the presenter himself wanted to highlight on his social networks, it is the close and familiar treatment of his team, led by Héctor.

On its menu you can find a wide variety of proposals, from tapas such as oxtail or boletus croquettes to hamburgers, toast and options designed for the little ones. There is also no shortage of good meats, such asc-huletón and entrecôte, both from the Teruel town of Bronchales. And, to put the finishing touch to the experience, a careful selection of desserts.

Although, without a doubt, one of the great attractions of this place is its spectacular views. On one side stretches the valley of Griegos and, on the other, the Sierra de Albarracín, creating a privileged environment in the middle of nature. In addition, the restaurant is located at an altitude of about 1,800 metres, next to the ski slopes, a location that makes it a particularly unique enclave.
