[EN] Solidarity mobilizes Zaragoza again: a collection for animals affected by the fires in Aragon

There are projects in Zaragoza that are born from the desire to help beyond the borders of your city, demonstrating that, when we join forces, unity is strength. The Anastasia Project, made up of a group of several shelters in the city, is back on track, this time to help animals affected by the fires in Aragon.

The project was born in 2022, after the outbreak of the war in Ukraine. In order to help animals affected by the conflict, they began to organize food drives and send donations to the country. The initiative was activated again after the Dana in Valencia, when they managed to fill two trailers and transport all the food collected to ground zero.

HOW TO HELP ANIMALS?

Now, they are joining forces again to restart this project and help the animals affected by the fires in Aragon. One of them is the most serious: the forest fire in the Peñas de Riglos already affects 17,000 hectares and has forced the evacuation of 19 municipalities in the province of Huesca.

They are looking for donations of all kinds, from food, both dry and wet, to material needed to distribute in the forest. You can also collaborate with financial contributions, which will allow the volunteers themselves to buy everything they need directly in the stores.
