As every August, the Zaragoza neighbourhood of Las Fuentes transforms its streets into a great stage of music, tradition and reunions between neighbours. The sound of whips, the races in front of the big heads and the bustle of the peñas will bring back the festive magic to one of the neighbourhoods with the greatest identity of Zaragoza.
The celebrations in honor of Santa Rosa de Lima will run from this Friday to August 30, with ten days designed to fill every corner of the neighborhood with life.
The fiesta will begin in style with a macro-party and will reach one of its most emotional moments with the proclamation of the Association of Bigheads of Las Fuentes, which celebrates its 50th anniversary. From Leticia Sabater, Rockanrolla, to the tributes to Estopa and Melendi will provide the soundtrack to a program that also includes children’s games, workshops, championships, shows and big-head tours. The mass, the procession of Santa Rosa de Lima and a batucada will bid farewell to the festivities in which Las Fuentes will once again demonstrate that its greatest attraction is in the life that beats in its streets.
