The Wanapix Zaragoza continues to add good sensations in its preparation for the return to the First Division. The team led by Jorge Palos beat Catgas Energía 4-3 this Saturday at the Municipal Pavilion of Calatayud, thus achieving their second victory of the preseason in an intense match that was not decided until the last seconds.
The second friendly of the summer left an unusual rhythm for this stage of preparation. Both teams came out with intensity and the scoreboard did not take long to open. Richi took advantage of a misunderstanding by the rival defense to find an empty goal and put Wanapix ahead with the 1-0. However, the reaction of the Catalan team was immediate. There was hardly time to celebrate the goal when Catgas Energía responded to equalize the match, a 1-1 with which both teams went to the break.
RICHI AND ORTEGO LEAD WANAPIX
The Aragonese team came out again determined to take command after the break. A good collective action ended with Richi assisting Ortego, who gave the lead back to Wanapix with 18 minutes of play remaining.

Three minutes later came the third goal. Kike Liao found Xuxu and the Brazilian did not forgive to make his debut as a scorer with the Zaragoza team and extend the distance on the scoreboard. But the match still had a lot to say. Catgas got back into the game and forced Jorge Palos’ men to maintain concentration during a final stretch much more demanding than the advantage could indicate.
With three minutes to go, Ortego appeared again to score his second goal of the afternoon. The player received the ball on the edge of the area and his shot ended up inside the goal to make it 4-3 and give the Aragonese an important break. Catgas Energía opted for the goalkeeper-player in search of an equalizer and Wanapix had to firmly defend the last attacks. The situation became even more complicated with just 20 seconds to go, when Jackson was shown a direct red card for a handball outside the area.
Diego Lázaro then entered the court and became one of the protagonists of the finale. The young goalkeeper had to intervene up to three times during those last seconds to prevent the equalizer and secure the victory for Wanapix.
