Works in Valle de Broto: traffic cuts for two weeks next to the tram route

The effects in Valle de Broto will extend, first, on the right lanes and, later, on the left ones while the repair of the road surface next to the tram tracks is undertaken

Valle de Broto street in Zaragoza faces from this Monday several days of works for the repair of the pavement next to the tram line, at the intersections with Gómez de Avellaneda and María Zambrano. The works, divided into two phases, force several lanes to be occupied in the direction of Avenida de los Pirineos and will last until September 4. These images show how the actions are progressing and the effects they are causing on one of the main roads in the area.

Valle de Broto street faces new traffic effects from this Monday due to the works that the Zaragoza City Council will carry out next to the tram route. The works will focus on the repair of the pavement at the intersections with Gómez de Avellaneda and María Zambrano avenues and will be carried out in two phases until the beginning of September.

The first of the performances began this Monday, August 24, and will last until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, August 28. During these days, the two right lanes of Valle de Broto in the direction of Avenida de los Pirineos will remain occupied, both at the junction with Gómez de Avellaneda and at the junction with María Zambrano.

The works will therefore force the reduction of the space available for traffic at two especially busy points of this Zaragoza road, although the intervention will be carried out in a staggered manner to keep part of the lanes open to traffic.

SECOND PHASE FROM AUGUST 31

Once this first intervention is finished, the works will continue the following week. Between Monday, August 31 and Friday, September 4, the works will be moved to the two left lanes, also in the direction of Avenida de los Pirineos and at the same intersections.

In this way, the effects in Valle de Broto will extend for two weeks, first on the right lanes and then on the left, while the repair of the road surface next to the tram tracks is undertaken.

The action in Valle de Broto is part of the new works planned in Zaragoza during the last full week of August. In addition to these works, there are interventions and effects in other parts of the city, such as Puente Clavería, Leonardo Torres Quevedo or Duque de Alba, in addition to the larger works that continue on Avenida de Valencia and the surroundings of El Portillo.
