The Ministry of Foreign Affairs maintains its device activated to locate four Spaniards after the flood registered in Nepal, on the border with China. The Minister of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation, José Manuel Albares, reported on Thursday that there are four Spaniards «that we did not locate», although for now his department is not aware of any Spanish fatalities.
José Manuel Albares explained in a message released by the Foreign Ministry that, «in the face of the tragic flood that has occurred in Nepal», both the Honorary Consulate of Spain in that country and the embassy in New Delhi (India) and the Consulate General in Beijing (China) «are fully mobilized to attend to the Spaniards».

FOUR PEOPLE ARE STILL NOT LOCATED
Albares pointed out that «at the moment we do not know of any Spanish deaths, but there are four people who we have not located». The minister called on all Spaniards, their families and friends «to know that they are or have been in the affected area», to contact the consular emergency telephones, «both from our operation on the ground, and from the Consular Emergency Unit here in the central services in Madrid».
Albares recalled that the contact telephone numbers are available on the social networks of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and also on those of Albares himself, who took the opportunity to convey his «condolences and solidarity to the deceased and to the government and the Nepalese people».

For its part, the Spanish embassy in India yesterday disseminated a consular notice on social networks to remind all Spanish citizens that, in case of need, they can contact theemergency telephone numbers, 91 9810174160 and 977 1 4579488/4570770.
