The Wanapix continues to shape the squad in its return to the elite and has announced the arrival of Portuguese international Célio Coque. The Portuguese winger arrives from SCU Torreense and signs for one season.
Célio is an offensive player, vertical and with the ability to generate imbalance in one-on-one situations. He arrives in Zaragoza after competing in the Portuguese league, considered one of the strongest competitions in the world in futsal.
The winger has been an international with Portugal in youth categories, accumulating 47 games and 22 goals between U-17, U-18, U-19 and U-21. In April 2026 he was called up by Jorge Braz to be part of the Portuguese senior team in the friendly matches against Japan played in Coimbra.
THE WORDS OF JORGE PALOS
The coach of the Aragonese team, Jorge Palos, has valued Célio’s offensive quality, highlighting that he has «great one-on-one ability, finishing with both legs and great passing quality».
The coach also underlines his international career: «He has justplayed in one of the best leagues in the world such as the Portuguese league, as well as being a regular in the lower categories of the national team until he made the leap to the senior team, which is one of the best teams in the world».
