More than 8,900 companies in Aragon ticked the Solidarity Company Box in their Corporate Tax return in 2025, which made it possible to collect nearly three million euros for social projects. The figure represents an increase of 27.5% compared to the previous year and raises the percentage of Aragonese companies participating in this initiative to 18.6%.
This contribution helped to promote 433 programs of general interest managed by 130 Third Sector entities in Aragon. The projects are aimed at combating poverty, social exclusion and inequality, as well as guaranteeing rights and supporting people in vulnerable situations.
Checking the box does not involve any additional cost for companies: it does not imply paying more taxes or reduce a possible refund. All you have to do is select the section on corporate purposes during the filing of Corporate Income Tax, between 1 and 25 July, in box 00073 of form 200 or in box 069 of form 220.
In the Spain, more than 373,000 companies marked this option in 2025 and the collection reached almost 125 million euros, although it could reach 295 million if the entire business fabric participated.
