The Palacio de Congresos de Zaragoza maintains its position as one of the main spaces for holding congresses, conventions and professional events. Between January and July 2026, it hosted 40 events that brought together 67,689 attendees, 26.3% more than in the same period in 2025 and 47.9% more than in 2024. A growth that reflects the variety of its programming and its ability to attract audiences both from Aragón and from other territories.
A large part of this increase is due to the success of major events held during these first months of the year. Among them are The Wave, which brought together 18,000 attendees; Aratur, with 4,323 participants; and the event of the 150th anniversary of the Foundation Ibercaja, which brought together 1,000 congressmen last month. In addition to these events, specialized meetings have been added such as the International Congress of Animal Nutrition and the Congress of the Spanish Society of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery. Overall, the activity of the venue has generated an economic impact of 9,304,240 euros for Zaragoza.
A FIRST-CLASS PROFESSIONAL AGENDA
July puts the finishing touch to this first part of the year with events of very different profiles, a sign of the venue’s ability to adapt to all kinds of formats. On the one hand, it hosted the Taxi Assembly (6 July) and, on the other, the Red Bull Battles (18 July), which brought the freestyle format with the greatest international following to the Palacio de Congresos.
The programme combines scientific and professional congresses, musical shows, graduation ceremonies, corporate conventions and institutional events, configuring a space prepared to respond to very diverse audiences and needs.
The Conference Centre is also facing the second half of 2026 with a particularly intense calendar. September will start with Vive Latino (September 4 and 5), the Araelec Automation Day (September 17), the performance of Goyo Jiménez (September 26), the musical El Granshowman (September 27) and the Internationalization Awards (September 29).
THE BIG EVENTS UNTIL THE END OF THE YEAR
The programme will continue in October with the musical El Paso de Carlo (3 October), The Phantom of the Opera (from 8 to 18 October), the Turespaña Convention (from 20 to 22 October), FAI Conecta (23 and 24 October) and the MatCongress Congress (29 and 30 October).
In November, the bibs of the Women’s Race (November 6 and 7), the Aragonese Congress of People with Cancer and Relatives of the Spanish Association Against Cancer (November 6 and 7), the graduation of a business school (November 12), the XXV Conference of the Lacanian School of Psychoanalysis (November 14 and 15), the Weddings, Celebrations and Events Hall of Aragón Nupzila (November 20 and 22), the AVPA Congress of the Association of Pig Veterinarians of Aragon (AVPA) and the musical The Sound of Music (November 28 and 29).
The activity will continue in December with the corporate convention of a major automotive company (December 2), the Tourism Gala (December 16), the performance of an internationally renowned artist (December 19) and the musicals Annie and Jekyll & Hyde (December 26 to 30). That same month the Science Pavilion will also be held (from 17 to 20 December), another of the major events organised by Feria de Zaragoza that brings scientific dissemination to families during the Christmas holidays.
