The Cinco Villas fire has advanced significantly tonight: it has already destroyed 12,000 hectares. Malpica had to be protected from Arba and Uncastillo due to the proximity of the fire. The towns of Orés, Asín, Luesia, Malpica de Arba and Uncastillo remain evacuated and the A-1204-CV813 and A-1202 roads are closed.
This morning a large extinguishing device will be deployed. On the part of Infoar, six helicopter brigades, twelve ground brigades, eleven fire trucks, five bulldozers, and a coordination helicopter are working on the ground.
The Ministry for Ecological Transition has mobilised four light helicopters, one medium helicopter, three Forest Fire Reinforcement Brigades and a coordination plane. Two seaplanes and two light aircraft will also be incorporated.
The UME has deployed three sections with 18 fire trucks, two helicopters and two bulldozers. Also part of the device are twelve wet nurses and two forest pumps from the Zaragoza Provincial Council, the firefighters of the Zaragoza City Council and media from Navarra, Castilla y León, La Rioja and the Valencian Community.
Three roads in the area continue to be blocked. The A-1204 remains closed between kilometre points 13 and 32, in the section between Farasdués and Orés, the CV-813 road between the towns of Asín and Orés, and the A-1202 between Layana and Luesia.
