Spain will experience a night of celebration and enjoyment with the World Cup final, which will last throughout the morning in case the National Team rises as world champions. The majority of citizens will congregate en masse in front of screens installed in squares, pavilions and bars throughout the country, just as they did on July 11, 2010. In a town in Zaragoza they have prepared a most original initiative in case Spain wins the World Cup final.
The municipal swimming pools of Alagón will remain open throughout the night if the Spanish National Team defeats Argentina this Sunday in New York. This has been announced by the City Council of Alagón through its social networks, in an activity that is already a classic in the town of Zaragoza.
The event will start at the Plaza de España in Alagón with a preview at 8:00 p.m. by Dj Marvlo, who will serve to warm up the atmosphere before the match is projected at 9:00 p.m. through a giant outdoor screen. But the best will come in case when the referee blows the whistle at the end of the match, Spain ends up ahead on the scoreboard.
«If Spain is proclaimed champion, the party will continue with Dj Marvlo and, as is tradition, we will take our swimsuits and go to the Summer Pool to celebrate the long-awaited bath of champions,» announced the Alagón City Council. The Zaragoza town aims to revive the spirit of 2010, when Spain was proclaimed world champion for the first time after a historic match against the Netherlands in Johannesburg (South Africa).
