The Red Bull Batalla National Final has already defined its 16 protagonists. The competition has put the finishing touch to the regional qualifiers this Saturday with a day at the Palacio de Congresos de Zaragoza, where the Asturian freestyler Gazir has been proclaimed champion after beating Iban in the grand final.
Along with him, Iban, Sara Socas, Deskarte, Ander2k and Zyko GDH have also won the pass for the National Final, which will be held on March 6, 2027 in Tenerife. The six qualifiers have joined Skone, Nocre, Jesús LC, Vivi, NQP and Segrelles, who secured their place in the regional of Almeria, as well as those already classified from last season: Bnet, current national champion; Dani VK, runner-up; and Alek and Fabiuki, semi-finalists. With the 16 names already confirmed, the countdown to the National Final has begun.
THE LAST REGIONAL BEFORE TENERIFE
The last qualifier of the season has once again demonstrated the level of freestyle in Spanish. On stage, already established references and a new generation of MCs determined to make a place for themselves among the elite have gathered, on a day marked by the high level of battles.
From the first crosses, the Canarian Sara Socas, the Aragonese Ander2k and Zyko GDH or the Catalan Deskarte have signed some of the most outstanding performances of the day. However, Gazir’s path to the title has been taking shape until it leads to the final against Iban. Both have starred in a high-level exchange of bars, with instant responses, replicas and punchlines that have made the audience explode on several occasions. After a hotly contested decision, Pieces, C.Terrible and June, members of the jury, have pointed to Gazir as the big winner of the night.
More than 800 people have filled the Zaragoza Conference Centre and have once again confirmed the weight of the Aragonese capital as one of the great references of freestyle in Spain. With DJ Verse setting the pace for each battle and More Black Thais and Claudinho leading the event, the city hosted a day that brought together established legends, title contenders and a dedicated crowd from start to finish.
RED BULL BATALLA ALREADY HAS ITS 16 FINALISTS
For more than two decades, Red Bull Batalla has become the main stage for freestyle in the Spanish-speaking world. More than a competition, it has served as a platform for the growth of some of the most important figures on the scene and for the emergence of new talents ready to make a name for themselves.
The 21st edition has reaffirmed that commitment to the essence of freestyle: unfiltered improvisation, talent in its purest form and a new generation of MCs ready to take over. Now, with the draw completely defined, all eyes are on Tenerife. On March 6, 2027, the 16 best MCs on the circuit will face each other again in the Red Bull Batalla National Final, where only one will manage to write his name in the history of the competition and win the Spanish championship belt.
