The fire is punishing Aragon like never before. The Orés forest fire, which has already devastated 6,000 hectares, has forced the evacuation of five municipalities and has caused the closure of three roads, is currently the focus of greatest concern. While the extinguishing teams focus their efforts on this incident, the Infoar operation maintains troops deployed in other fires spread throughout the community.
The last one that has been declared this afternoon, as reported by Infoar, is one in the town of Jánovas, belonging to Fiscal (Huesca). At this time, three helicopter brigades, a helicopter from the Infoar operation and an amphibious aircraft provided by the Valencian Community are already acting in the area. The fire is pending evolution.
Another of the active outbreaks is located in Peña Montañesa, also in the Sobrarbe region. According to the latest information, the fire is progressing towards a rocky area with less fuel continuity, which could limit its spread. Two helicopter brigades with their respective helicopters and a ground brigade from the operation Infoar, are working in the area. In addition, an amphibious aircraft from the Valencian Community based in Castellón is participating in the extinguishing work, which reinforces the aerial device. For their part, the fires of La Fueva and Castanesa are already under control and show a favorable evolution.
IN TERUEL
In the province of Teruel, the Peñarroya de Tastavins fire remains stabilized, although during the last few hours small reproductions have been recorded that maintain surveillance on the perimeter. A helicopter brigade from Alcorisa is working in the area with its light helicopter to prevent reactivations.
