The mayor of Teruel and candidate of the Popular Party, Emma Buj, has announced that she will run again for Mayor of the capital of Teruel in the municipal elections of May 2027 with the aim of revalidating the trust of citizens and continuing the transformation project that she has promoted in recent years.
«I am running for Mayor of Teruel again with the same enthusiasm as on the first day, but also with the baggage of the achievements achieved,» said Buj, who assured that she faces this new stage «with renewed energy» and convinced that the city is going through a moment of growth and expansion.
The popular candidate stressed that Teruel is today «a city that creates employment, that expands its university campus, that gains population and that improves the quality of life of its residents every day». In this sense, he has valued the actions carried out during the last mandates, among which he has highlighted the implementation of new cultural facilities, such as the cultural centers of San Julián and San León, the creation of new green spaces such as the Polígono Sur Park and the El Carrel Park, as well as the construction of new sports facilities, among them the pavilion of La Fuenfresca and the new heated swimming pool.
Emma Buj explained that her decision to return to head the candidacy of the Popular Party responds to the desire to continue consolidating the growth of Teruel and to continue promoting projects that improve the lives of the people of Teruel. «Together with my team we have shown that we know how to make a better Teruel and we are going to continue working so that the people of Teruel trust us again,» he said.
