As will happen in the entire national territory, the city of Huesca is preparing to live an unforgettable night of football with the final of the World Cup between Spain and Argentina. The Huesca City Council will set up two screens at the Palacio de Congresos so that fans can follow the match, which will be played this Sunday, July 19, starting at 9:00 p.m. (Spanish time) at the MetLife Stadium in New Jersey.
The doors of the Conference Centre will open at 8:00 p.m. Access to the interior will be free and, on a first-come, first-served basis, a ticket will be given to each spectator until the capacity of the multipurpose room is reached. In addition, with the aim of increasing capacity, the space will be conditioned without benches to allow the attendance of as many fans as possible.
As a novelty, the City Council will install a second screen outside, next to the main façade of the Palacio de Congresos, thus creating an additional space so that more people can follow live from the street the fight of the Spanish team for the world title.
The initiative has the collaboration of the Peñas Recreativa de Huesca, which will be in charge of managing and serving the drinks during the meeting. In addition, the Huesca City Council encourages all Huesca residents to meet at the Palacio de Congresos to share the atmosphere of a historic final and support the Spanish team in its attempt to win the World Cup.
