The ninth edition of Route 091 of the National Police of Zaragoza has already kicked off with its official presentation and the test will take place on October 10. This year the proceeds from the race will go to the association of the patronage of Nuestra Señora de los Dolores, a non-profit entity that has been in charge of helping disadvantaged people for 52 years in the Aragonese capital.
The captain of the National Police of Zaragoza, José Ángel Sanz, took the floor during the presentation and stated that «for all of us this race is very special and we want it to continue to go from strength to strength every year». In addition, he has made it clear that with each edition «the reception is spectacular» and in this new event there will be a total of 2,000 places available.

Registration has been open since July 10 and the population can sign up on the race’s website and in person at El Corte Inglés (Sports Section), Running (Calle Ricla, 2) and Zenit (Calle María Guerrero, 14). The registration deadline will be until September 28.
CATEGORIES AND ROUTE
The main event has a limit of 1,700 participants and will have a distance of 5,000 meters and those over 14 years of age can register. The cost is 12 euros with all expenses included.
In addition, the little ones will have various children’s races ranging from 50 to 400 meters of route. The cost is 6 euros, although it can only be done online and the limit is 300 participants.
The start and finish will be in the vicinity of the Botanical Garden of the José Antonio Labordeta Park. The start of the main test will be at 9:00 a.m. and that of the children’s tests will be between 10:00 a.m. and 11:00 a.m.
The collection of bibs will be between October 8 and 9 from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the Corte Inglés on Paseo Independencia, on the sixth floor. In addition, on the 10th from 8:00 a.m. to 8:30 a.m. they can be picked up at the park’s kiosk. It will be essential to carry the ID card and if you want to collect the bib of another runner, you must present a photocopy of the ID of the aforementioned or the original document.
