The Spanish Consumer Association has prepared a selection of ten products that it considers especially recommended for a summer family medicine cabinet. To choose them, it has analysed the healthcare usefulness of each category, the frequency with which it responds to problems typical of this time and its availability in the Spanish pharmacies.
The organization has also valued the recognition of the brands among consumers, the trust they generate among health professionals and their ease of use in the home.
FILVIT, INSECT REPELLENT
Mosquito and tick bites are common during the summer, especially in travel, hiking, camping, and outdoor activities. Among the selected products is Filvit Insect Repellent Spray, which offers up to 12 hours of scientifically proven protection against tiger mosquitoes, mosquitoes and ticks.
CITO-ORAL ALKALINE LEMONADE
The heat, intense physical activity and some digestive disorders can cause significant losses of water and electrolytes.
