The King and Queen and Their Royal Highnesses the Princess of Asturias and the Infanta Sofía will attend the final of the World Cup on Sunday in New York, which the Spanish national team will play after the victory against France in the semi-finals.
As reported on Wednesday by the Royal House, the head of state and his family will travel to New York after having followed the match against the French team on Tuesday at a hotel in Barcelona, where they spent the night after attending the Princess of Girona Awards ceremony, held at the Gran Teatro del Liceu.

In this sense, the Royal House released a video in which the Monarch was seen with his family, all of them wearing the national team’s shirt, following the match against the French team. In the images they appear commenting on plays, closely following the development of the match and celebrating the goals and the triumph of the national team.
The four members of the Royal Family wore the second kit of the Spanish national team, the white shirt, and wore the number 26, the number used by the Galician striker Borja Iglesias.
