The concept of time has always intrigued great minds. Einstein stated that time was relative and that it does not pass in the same way in the vast universe. According to the Austrian, the separation between present, past and future is only a mental construction and that, in the physics of the universe, all moments coexist. This idea is the premise of «Tempo», the show of The Invisible Magician that arrives at Teatro Principal from July 15 to 19.
The magician Dakris, winner of the National Magic Award, takes to the stage of the Principal to fill the Zaragoza coliseum with magic and illusions. In this larger-format show, the Valencian illusionist takes the audience on a journey through time and memories. It will feature teleportations, apparitions, disappearances and, of course, its star number of invisibility.
The illusionist explained that he wants the audience to receive the show with enthusiasm and emotion: «They will be able to see how I become invisible and they will also be able to see magic in their own hands, so that they can enjoy it in first person». The audience will have the opportunity to participate in the illusion: ten people who lend themselves will be able to go on stage, of which two will disappear.
The Invisible Magician has highlighted the good reception that his previous show had in the Aragonese capital: «Last year I already came to Zaragoza, and it is wonderful: how they applaud you, how they stand up and how they come to the theatre». A reception that the audience has not forgotten: the tickets for the five sessions are almost sold out, a response that the illusionist has appreciated.
The magician commented that the awards are valued because they are «a pill for the ego», but that the most important prize is the reception of the public. «The most important thing for me is the applause of the public, that they come to see you and that they repeat,» he stressed.
