The Basil Bullfighting Fair of Huesca faces one of the most important dates in its calendar with the start of the sale of single tickets for all the celebrations of the Huesca bullfighting cycle. This Monday, July 20, from 11:00 a.m., fans will be able to purchase their tickets both at the box office of the Huesca bullring and through the Tauroemocion website, where online sales will also be enabled simultaneously.
The organizing company expects a great response from the public after the «extraordinary reception» that the season ticket campaign has registered and the high demand that has aroused a fair considered by many as one of the most attractive in recent years. The presence of the main figures of bullfighting, the return of the Victorino Martín ranch to Huesca and the participation of Aragonese bullfighters have triggered interest among fans.
The expectation is maximum and the forecasts point to several of the afternoons being able to hang the «No tickets» sign, an objective that Tauroemocion had already pointed out after the presentation of the serial and that hopes to surpass the success of the last edition. With the start of the free sale of tickets, the Basil Bullfighting Fair enters its definitive phase, consolidating itself one more year as one of the great events of the San Lorenzo Festivities and one of the most important bullfighting events of the Spanish summer.
PROGRAM OF THE FAIR
The combinations are as follows:
– August 1st: Grand Prix with the participation of the supporters’ clubs.
– August 7: Novillada without picadores. Steers from Los Maños for Bruno Martínez, Jaime Torija, Asier Abadiano and Diego Tebas.
– August 8: National Contest of Trimmers.
– 9 August: traditional bullfight of the peñas, Casta Aragones show and release of cows.
– August 10: bulls from El Torero for El Fandi, Tomás Rufo and Marco Pérez.
– August 11th: bulls from El Pilar for Talavante, Emilio de Justo and Aarón Palacio.
– August 12: Luis Algarra bulls for Sebastián Castella, Roca Rey and Cristian Torres.
– August 13th: bulls from Victorino Martín for El Cid, Manuel Escribano and Morenito de Aranda.
– August 14th: bulls from Luis Albarrán for Leonardo Hernández, Lea Vicens and Sergio Pérez de Gregorio.
– From August 11 to 15: traditional cow releases at eight in the morning.
