Pymetrans, of which Tradime is a member, denounces the delay in payments that have not yet materialized
The companies of the freight transport continue to await the extraordinary aid approved by the Government in Royal Decree-Law 7/2026, despite the fact that the European Commission has already given the green light to these measures and the Ministry of Transport communicated its authorisation on 30 June 2026.
The situation has led Pymetrans, an organization of which the Aragonese association Tradime, is a member, to publicly denounce the delay in payments that have not yet materialized
Specifically, the sector points out that it still «does not receive either the bonus of 0.20 euros per litre of professional diesel or the direct aid per vehicle provided for in the regulation». The organisation warns that «this delay is aggravating the liquidity problems of the self-employed and companies, which relied on these measures to cope with the increase in the cost of fuel».
Pymetrans considers it inadmissible that, once the main administrative procedure has been completed, «the Government has not streamlined the payment processes«, since the aid was designed to partially alleviate the liquidity problems arising from the increase in the cost of fuel. The delay is further compromising the economic situation of the self-employed and transport companies.
In addition, Pymetrans, in line with the National Road Transport Committee (CNTC), recalls that this aid is a measure committed by the Administration «to deal with an exceptional situation and warns that its delay harms economic viability of hundreds of self-employed workers and companies».
The organisation adds that this delay is compounded by the «lack of development of the measures provided for in Royal Decree-Law 9/2026, related to the impact of the Strait of Hormuz conflict on fuel prices», a circumstance that makes planning the sector’s business activity even more difficult.
