Trips by carretera are once again one of the favourite options for those who take advantage of the summer holidays to discover new destinations or visit different corners of Spain. However, one of the moments that can make the journey more expensive comes when it is time to fill up the tank far from the usual petrol station. For this reason, the Organization of Consumers and Users (OCU) recommends always looking for the service stations with the lowest prices, a gesture that can translate into savings of around 12 euros per tank. With this objective, the association has selected the cheapest petrol stations to refuel on the main motorways that cross Aragón.
And, as the OCU recalls, service stations located on motorways and large corridors tend to register some of the highest prices. Even so, there are important differences between some petrol stations and others. Choosing where to stop allows you to save up to 19% on petrol and 16% on diesel on some of the routes that pass through the community.
THE CHEAPEST PETROL STATIONS TO REFUEL ON THE MOTORWAYS OF ARAGON
On the A-2, one of the main axes that connects Aragon with Madrid and Catalonia, the OCU highlights the Family Energy stations in Garrapinillos (Zaragoza) and BonÀrea in Épila (Zaragoza) among the cheapest to refuel. For its part, in the corridor formed by the A-23 and the AP-68, the organization places among the cheapest options the Alcampo stations in Huesca and BonArea in Villanueva de Gállego (Zaragoza).
That small gesture of choosing well whereto refuel can end up making a difference during the holidays, since filling a 50-liter tank at one of the cheapest stations can cost about 12 euros less. So, if you are passing through Aragon this summer during your holidays, spend a few minutes looking for the cheapest petrol station on your route.
