There are seasons that leave their mark and the last one of the Real Zaragoza is one of them. The Dantesque and disastrous relegation has caused different serious consequences ranging from the fact that the white club has to play this season in Primera RFEF to the seriousness of a historic player having fallen from professional football. Precisely, the sequels reach the virtual world and the latest example of this can be seen in the new edition of the famous series of football video games, EA Sports FC (formerly known as FIFA).

Since a member of the squad who was relegated to the Aragonese entity is the player in the entire game who has lowered his rating the most for the new edition of this campaign: Mario Soberón. The Cantabrian striker, who after Real Zaragoza’s relegation found a place in Albacete in the Second Division, is the player who has seen his rating reduced the most compared to the previous edition of the video game, with a significant drop of eight points that makes him go from 72 on average to 64.

In addition, Soberón loses his status as a silver player to become a bronze category card. A considerable change in his overall rating within the video game that, obviously, is also reflected in practically all his individual statistics.

THE RHYTHM

The section in which the decline is most evident is in the pace statistics. Soberón goes from having 71 points in this characteristic to having only 47 in the new FC 27, which is a huge drop of 24 units. A particularly striking difference considering that speed was one of the attributes that appeared best on his previous card.

The giant drop in valuation comes after a complicated season for Real Zaragoza, who ended up losing the category and relegated to the First RFEF. Soberón played part of that campaign with the white team and after a disastrous season where he scored the same number of goals as red cards he received, he also sees the drop in level that his virtual assessment has suffered in FC 27.
