RECOMMENDATIONS

Given the forecast of these adverse weather phenomena, the Government of Aragon recommends taking extreme precautions, especially from the start times of the warnings. It is advisable to avoid unnecessary displacements and, if driving, reduce speed, increase the safety distance and pay special attention to possible accumulations of water on the road.

It is also recommended to avoid open areas during storms, stay away from trees, metal structures and elements that may detach, and do not travel through ravines, riverbeds or areas susceptible to flooding. The population must keep informed of the evolution of the warnings and follow the indications of the emergency services.

The alert phase of the Special Civil Protection Plan for Adverse Weather Phenomena in Aragon (Procifemar) remains activated due to the forecast of widespread rains and storms in the Autonomous Community.
