This summer I feel that there is something floating in the air, a cosmic rumble, a «something smells rotten in Denmark»; perhaps it is the instinct that wants to warn me of something, like the old man’s knee that warns him that the weather is going to change for the worse and there is nothing he can do to prevent it. Because it’s just that, a sensation that keeps me on alert, makes my hair stand on end, makes me raise my ears and see shadows moving in the dark, «a cute kitten» and the bottle half empty.
On the one hand, we have nature hitting us harder and harder on all sides. Earthquakes of great magnitude every week in a different South American country or the seismic swarm of Grenada; the sixth-generation fires that are ravaging Spain and half the world; drought in Europe; the cut-off lows starting their season, the extreme warming of the Mediterranean and the unusual strength of El Niño that augurs a very hot autumn and unpredictable storms.
On the other, the greed of the elites, the unpresentable people, who continue to play at conquering the world, at maintaining their power at any cost. The United States and Israel, which have become inseparable partners, use Morocco, promising it help with the invasion of Ceuta and Melilla, to control the Strait of Gibraltar, which is the main objective. Meanwhile, they continue to spend stratospheric amounts of money and bombs to control the Strait of Hormuz and, when they have time, they will return to the fray with the passage of Greenland.
They want to control all strategic passages, maritime trade and energy routes, to stop China and Russia, which have been gaining ground on them for years, putting Yankee imperialism on the ropes. A cornered emperor, with an empire in decline, with an unpayable debt of 38 billion dollars who sees in war, in the economic strength of the military industry and conflicts, the only way to survive, to reinvent himself. They use local quarrels to pit us all: Russia against Europe, China against Taiwan, the two Koreas, Morocco against Spain, Saudi Arabia with Iraq, because that’s how we bleed each other, because in all of them, they are the ones who gain time and money.
All countries are interested in peace, in the fulfillment of international treaties, human rights (well, some don’t care about that), because it is the only way to continue to maintain their privileges, to divide the business among everyone, to maintain this tense calm that distances us from World War III. But the Zionists and the Americans are not interested in peace, because they want everything and they don’t care what they have to do to get it, because all they want is to rule the world. And, unfortunately, they are gaining ground, at the expense of removable puppets scattered around the world: Milei, Abascal, Kast, Espriella and the entire European troupe, among others, capable of selling their souls to the devil, to their country and to their compatriots, thinking that they will eat at their table, that they are like them, that they will be part of the world elite.
They are paving the way for them, putting fear in us in the face of those who are different and promising a strong hand to defend the borders from the enemies of the homeland and freedom. But they are the danger and, when they come to power, they take off their masks and begin to dance to the sound of the puppeteers, who force them to cut back on social rights and freedoms, to use the strategy of «silver or lead», of with me or with no one, of I order and you obey.
And step by step, these dystopian sensations, which begin in a weak democracy, but at the end of the day democracy, end up taking us to a crossroads from which it is very difficult to get out, in which giving opinions, breathing and even eating will become an odyssey; in which they will kill the poets «for being reds and faggots» and bury them in the same ditches that their grandparents dug. those they never wanted to look for, but who know very well where they are and, without scruples, will use again.
This week, with the procession and the remembrance of Lorca’s sacking and murder, we have once again remembered what they are capable of, that man is a wolf to man. And these are dangerous, not like the ones with which Marcos, the wolf boy, who has died these days, lived. When I look at the eclipse this week, I will howl at the moon in its honor and to try to get rid of these sensations, which, more and more, are becoming all-too-real visions.
