[EN] Electricity is cheaper today by almost 19%, to 127.64 euros per MWh

The average price of electricity in the wholesale market will fall this Tuesday by 18.88%, to 127.64 euros per megawatt hour (MWh), from 157.35 euros yesterday, Monday, which drops below the barrier of 150 euros.

According to data from the Iberian Electricity Market Operator (OMIE), this Tuesday’s 127.64 euros represent a slight reduction of 0.94% compared to the 128.85 on the same day last week, but 40.67% higher than the 90.74 euros a month ago.

In the annual comparison, the price of electricity will rise by 32.02% in relation to the 96.68 euros per MWh recorded on August 18 last year.
