[EN] Francho Serrano, starter and exhibition with Getafe in the Conference victory against Partizan

The midfielder, already formerly of Real Zaragoza, played the 90 minutes with the blue team leaving a great performance in his debut under José Bordalás

With only two training sessions behind him, Francho Serrano has already won over Bordalás and started this Thursday in the first leg of the last qualifying round of the Conference League. The midfielder, already formerly of Real Zaragoza, played the 90 minutes and was one of Getafe’s best players in the win against Partizan Belgrade (3-1).

Francho had a great first half, constantly bursting in from the second line and even came close to scoring with a volley from the edge of the area. In addition, he was the player who touched the most balls in the opponent’s third and fell apart both in attack and in defensive tasks. Although it should be noted that Mario Martín, a regular in the eleven, could not be on the field because he was suspended.

The debut of the Zaragoza native has left a great taste in the mouths of the Barça fans and it seems that he is going to be one of the mainstays, within that midfield, for a Bordalás who has added a new soldier to the cause with Francho. In addition, another former Real Zaragoza player such as Nikola Cumic also made his debut for Partizan coming off the bench in the final minutes.

BAZDAR DEBUTS WITH SINT-TRUIDENSE

Samed Bazdar already knows what it’s like to wear the Sint-Truidense shirt after making his debut this Thursday in the last qualifying phase for the Europa League. The Bosnian striker came on in the second half to be an important piece in his team’s victory against Omonia Nicosia (1-0).

The Balkan attacker played the entire second half as a reference and was the player who made the most touches in the opponent’s area and the one who most often troubled the Cypriot team’s goalkeeper with three shots. Bazdar was a constant nuisance for the Omonia defense and left a good performance in his debut with the Belgian team.
