The countdown tothe Michelin Grand Prix is entering its final week. In less than seven days, the world’s best drivers on two wheels will be putting their incredible machines at over 360km/h on the spectacular MotorLand. All this surrounded by a special and unique atmosphere that will have its meeting point in a Fan Zone full of attractions for the thousands of fans who will visit the facilities.
On a sporting level it is full of incentives, starting with the fight for the MotoGP title. Jorge Martín arrives reinforced from Silverstone, Marco Bezzecchi more recovered, the TrackHouse drivers; Raúl Fernández and Ai Ogura with options to continue dreaming and Marc Márquez landing on his fetish circuit, he has eight victories on Aragonese soil. The Lleida native will be looking for the 37 points that winning the Sprint and the race will give, but he will have to keep an eye on the Aprilia as well as Fabio Di Giannantonio and his future teammate, Pedro Acosta.
In the lower categories, the Spaniards are also protagonists. Manuel González leads Moto2 with 42.5 points over Izan Guevara, while, in Moto3, Máximo Quiles, who will return from injury, will try to manage his 85-point advantage in a golden opportunity for his rivals. All this with the Harley Davidson Bagger World Cup that debuts in Spain.
THE FAN ZONE AND THE PIT LANE WALK
The roar of the motorcycles will not be the only thing that resonates around all the corners of MotorLand, the shout of the fans will also be present both in the stands and in the Fan Zone. The space will have a commercial area to buy merchandising, a rest area with shades and restaurants with a bar and food trucks. There will also be a children’s area and attractions such as the large Ferris wheel.
The most anticipated moment will be on Saturday as the stage will host the celebration of the podium of the Sprint Race and a subsequent session by DJ Andrés Campo. After the music, it will be the turn of the performance of the comedian Wilbur and the arrival of several riders from the three MotoGP categories to interact with the public. The Fan Zone will also feature the Harley Davidson Bagger World Cup paddock.
The first activity that fans will be able to enjoy will be the Pit Lane Walk on Thursday, August 27 at 4:30 p.m. Here, the public can walk through the pit lane where drivers will go out to sign autographs and take photos with fans.
