And now Bona has decided to take another step in her artistic career.

And it is that Juanjo is going to try his luck in the world of cinema. The singer from Zaragoza, who has managed to triumph in the main music charts with his first studio album «Recardelino», is part of the cast of the latest project of the Aragonese director Nacho G. Velilla. It is the film «If the Dead Talked», which will hit theaters on December 3, 2027.

Amazon MGM Studios has confirmed the release date coinciding with the end of a shoot that has taken the production to Kenya, the main setting of a story that mixes criminal investigation, black humor and a good dose of tension. Zaragoza’s Nacho G. Velilla will be in charge while Carmen Machi, Hugo Silva and Maribel Verdú will star in the film alongside Juanjo Bona.

They are joined by Megan Montaner from Huesca and the also well-known Ingrid García Jonsson, Alain Hernández and Claudia Salas, who complete a cast that is difficult to beat.

SYNOPSIS

At the center of the story is Mar Ventura, a woman with a very particular relationship with death. While most people try to stay away from her, Mar finds some peace precisely among the corpses that arrive at the funeral home where she works.

Her sister Irene decides to take her on a safari in the heart of Africa. A journey that, for Mar, already begins as a real nightmare. The situation took a radical turn when, on the third day of the expedition, one of the members of the group was found dead. What seemed like an adventure between spectacular landscapes and wild nature is then transformed into an investigation against the clock.
