[EN] Aragon looks to the sky this Sunday before the arrival of very strong storms and hail

Aragon has dawned this Sunday with clear skies and a calm atmosphere, although the weather will change significantly as the hours go by. The storms will gain ground as the day progresses and could be locally strong or very strong during the afternoon in the western Iberian system, the Ebro valley and the Lower Aragon, where they will also be accompanied by hail, according to the prediction of the State Meteorological Agency (Aemet).

Storms could also appear in the Pyrenees, although in this area phenomena ofstrong intensity are not ruled out. The sky will be little cloudy, with intervals of low clouds and an increase in daytime cloudiness as the afternoon progresses.

SHOWERS AND STORMS FROM THE EARLY HOURS

Showers and storms are expected from the early hours in the Pyrenees and will also affect the rest of Aragon during the second half of the day, where it is not ruled out that they could be strong.

In the western Iberian system, the Ebro valley and Lower Aragon will probably be locally strong or very strong and will be accompanied by hail.

TEMPERATURES RISE IN MUCH OF ARAGON

Temperatures will also rise this Sunday in much of Aragon. Early in the morning, the thermometers already reached 22.6 degrees in Huesca, 22.1 in Teruel, 23.7 in Caspe and 23.3 in Fraga. The rise will be locally notable in Cinco Villas, while in the east of the Pyrenees temperatures will drop slightly.

The wind will blow lightly from the east and south and will tend in the afternoon to moderate southeast in the Ebro valley, Bajo Aragón and the south of Huesca. It will have a moderate eastern component in the Iberian system of Zaragoza and a moderate southern component in the Iberian system of Teruel, while in the rest it will blow lightly from the south.
